“The moon shimmers in green water.
White herons fly through the moonlight.
The young man hears a girl gathering water-chestnuts:
into the night, singing, they paddle home together.”
~ Li Po
As we transition from summer to fall, we bid farewell to summer, maybe feeling sadness for the loss of summer, but striding confidently onward on our path, welcoming a new phase of our life, a new season, new experiences and opportunities, knowing we are in the flow of life.
As we align ourselves to the changes in nature, and gather our harvest, we give gratitude and appreciation to the fruit of our dreams that we planted earlier this year. This time of the year encourages us to celebrate the blessings we have received through the year as well as to reassess what we want and reflect on what no longer serves us. What do you wish to invite in and what can you let go of? Are the seeds that haven’t blossomed yet still relevant to you? Let the magical of fall support you in manifesting the seeds of your dreams that haven’t blossomed yet.
As the days get shorter and the nights longer, nature asks us to slow down, and to go within. Here we can connect to our inner love, harmony and strength, nourishing and kindling our inner light which will illuminate our path through the dark hours of fall and winter.
Are you looking for some inspiration on how to celebrate today’s autumnal equinox?
I would love to invite you to join our yoga celebration this morning at 10.00 a.m. to welcome the new season together!
If you are living far away from Mendocino, you may like to greet the first day of fall with your own practice of yoga/meditation and/or a lovely cup of hot tea or a walk in nature.
Wishing you a happy autumn and a rewarding harvest of your dreams!
Many blessings from my heart to yours,
Tanja
